We stayed at The Nest during Christmas time, and while we understand it might be challenging to find experienced staff during this peak period of the year, the overall experience should still reflect the premium price point. The rooms were extremely noisy, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, when we first checked into our room, the floor hadn’t been cleaned properly—there was visible dust and hair from previous guests. In the restaurant, the bright lighting diminished the ambiance during dinner. Lowering the light intensity would create a more peaceful atmosphere. The music also felt out of place at times, as it was played directly from an iPad, resulting in an unpleasant, high-pitched sound. The staff was polite and friendly, but they struggled with taking orders accurately. With better training and support, this could be improved. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail didn’t meet the expectations for a property at this price point. We hope these areas can be improved for a better guest experience in the future.

Family owned and operated with love and care, The Nest exemplifies Phillipina grace and hospitality. Grounds and rooms are very nice, super clean and well attended to. Staff is quite friendly and helpful. Pool is perfect and the view from the pool is a travel magazine cover.

This is an unpretentious and welcoming resort. Stayed here for six nights and by the end it felt like home. You’re close enough to the town (a 5 min walk) but avoid the noise and hustle and bustle. Staff are exceptional, and go above and beyond to help you. They provide a free tricycle service to town and organised tricycles to Nacpan beach and the port for us. The cocktails were always yummy. You get amazing sunset views from the pool. This whole place was a vibe. We will stay here next time we’re in El Nido and will be recommending the Nest to friends and family back home in Australia. Highly recommended! Stayed here on Aug 18 to 20, 2024. The staff is very courteous and polite, displaying the very best of Filipino hospitality. We appreciate the attentiveness and professionalism of front desk staff May, Irvin and Caren. The rooms, from the bed to the rest of the amenities are very comfortable. The breakfast set up is world class and one of the best we've experienced in our many travels. We appreciate Sheila's polite and courteous service here. Would love to come back to The Nest if we're ever back in El Nido, Palawan!

The nest is an amazing property with one of the best views exactly facing cadlao island. The staff was really helpful during our stay and assisted us when my friend had a fracture in his foot with all the transportation. Neil, Irvin, and Gino were quite helpful. The rooms were of good size enough for 3 adults.
