Stayed here for 5 nights. During our stay the neighbouring bank was doing renovations so it was quite loud at times. I called the front desk about it the the only resolution given was that they would tell the labourers to stop working. I was surprised we were not given a different room given that our room was adjacent to the bank wall where the construction was happening. Our stay included breakfast which I can say that I did not avail of during my stay. The breakfast offerings were slim to none and was untypical of hotel breakfasts. Most items were a Chinese-Asian fusion with cheap cuts of fatty meat. I would not opt for the breakfast option again. Despite these setbacks the real star of this hotel are the excellent service and amazing location. I enjoyed the quality of service that was provided by H Hospitality Group. From the private island hopping tour, to the land hopping/beach hopping shuttle service. It made our vacation relaxing without having to worry about logistics. For me I would give this place a 3.5/5 stars overall. I would stay again but it would not be my first choice.

The rooms are extremely noisy, with construction going on all day and sometimes even past 10 PM, making it impossible to relax. The windows are poorly insulated, so after 5 PM, when all the nearby BBQ restaurants start cooking, your room ends up smelling like a smokehouse. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, it’s an absolute nightmare! The only positive aspect is the incredibly kind staff, who do their best despite working in such a poorly managed place. I just wish the owner would invest in comfort rather than flashy Supreme decorations!

Disappointing Experience – Misleading Information and Poor Customer Service I recently stayed at S Resort El Nido Hotel in January 2025 for 6 nights and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected based on the hotel’s official website. • Misleading Room Size Information: The website claims that rooms are 50 m², but in reality, all rooms are only 25 m². This is a serious case of false advertising, as guests are led to believe they are booking a much larger space. • Bathroom Condition: The hotel advertises recently renovated bathrooms, but ours was already in poor condition, with visible signs of wear and damage. • Overpriced for the Actual Experience: We paid 53,000 pesos for six nights, expecting a luxurious and spacious stay. Instead, we found ourselves cramped in a much smaller room, which did not justify the high price. • Poor Customer Service and No Compensation: After noticing these issues, I contacted the hotel and was offered a complimentary breakfast and a massage, which is insufficient given the inconvenience. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any further compensation or even a proper response from the management. This kind of misleading advertising damages the reputation of El Nido, Philippines, as a tourist destination, as it creates distrust among visitors. I strongly advise future guests to be aware of these issues before booking. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not, unless they take responsibility and correct these deceptive practices.

Our time in El Nido was fantastic, partly because of the Team at S Resort. The Hotel was in the perfect location and a nice and funky twist to it. Carl was just fantastic. Anything and everything was just a pleasure for him to assist us. He went above and beyond. The ladies at the reception was exceptional, friendly and also willing to assist. Thank you for your unforgettable services. Definitely a must stay

We spent 4 wonderful nights at this hotel, and everything was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable: right in front of El Nido beach, with a breathtaking view from the terrace overlooking the sand and the ocean. A true paradise for beach and nature lovers. The hotel offers great perks through its partnerships with other establishments. We enjoyed relaxing massages, delicious restaurants, and beach loungers. It’s such a thoughtful addition that makes the stay even more enjoyable. A special mention for the shuttle service to Napcan Beach, offered at very reasonable prices — a must-do excursion! The rooms are impeccable: spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. The team is truly exceptional — incredibly kind, proactive with recommendations, and always ready to meet our needs. A particular shoutout to Carl, whose professionalism and kindness are unmatched. His attention to detail and care are truly outstanding, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him working in a luxury Parisian hotel someday. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! We will definitely be back.
