One of the coolest hotels I've ever stayed in, along with arguably the nicest staff and owners! Special mention to Bombay their dog too, who was really cute and friendly.
The staff were really helpful with booking a private boat tour and went above and beyond when it came to making you feel at home.
The rooms and the downstairs were beautifully made with some really cool features!
Also the breakfast, wow! The best hash browns (proper western style) and eggs/coffee/bacon/beans/charcuterie board style meats/cheese were all really good.
We had to extend our stay in El Nido due to ferry problems and were gutted they were fully booked; but unsurprisingly so!
Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in El Nido.
Thanks again Rockinnest!

A real gem of a hotel in the perfect location for access to everything you need in El Nido: shops, cafe, bars the port etc..
100% what makes this hotel so great is the staff, so friendly and helpful. They make a real effort to welcome you and look after you.
The rooms are amazing, so unique and beautifully designed - stunning!
The wine bar is excellent, great atmosphere and so much fun.
Definitely recommend staying here and would love to return!

Immediately felt at home at this hotel after being away from the Philippines for several years. You will be staying in close proximity to all the shops, eateries, and activities El Nido has to offer.
Filipino hospitality standards were exceeded! The owner ensured my partner and I felt safe and comfortable as gay men during our stay. If you're in search of a safe space as a gay travelever book a room here!

SAFE SPACE!
My partner and I stayed at this cozy hotel for a weekend and we were much satisfied with everything -- the room, service, the company, and the ease of access around El Nido town.
We stayed at the Diamond room and were blown away by the curated pieces around the room. One of the unique things we noticed was the locking mechanism of the door that relied on levers and manual padlocks instead of the usual automatic locks you'd find in commercial hotels. It added more character to the already unique room design.
The staff, Kyle and Ran were very accommodating as well. They were easy to approach and would also chat with us to make us feel comfortable.
The owner, Dran was also one of the best hosts. We had breakfast with him and had great conversations. He even let us try this delicious almond cake from Sweden.
Overall, our stay at Rockinnest was one of a kind and I highly recommend it for couples. PLUS, did I mention that the hotel is run by an LGBT couple and have a diverse set of staff. As a lesbian couple we felt safe and free to be ourselves (v. important).

The only thing I have to review is the booking process which is negative. I booked the hotel months ago and received a confirmation shortly after.
After I arrived in the Philippines and only a few days prior to my confirmed reservation I received a correspondence that the reservation was cancelled with no explanation.
This forced me to find another room on short notice, which ended up costing us more money. You know how that goes, hotels will always take advantage of short notice bookings.
Beware I have read other reviews indicating last minute cancellations from this hotel, so I’m guessing they purge some of the agreements they have made with customers in order to charge more for last minute bookings.
This is unprofessional conduct!
