The receptionists at the front desk requested customer service training. We asked repeatedly about our taxi to the airport and each time we were assured it was scheduled and to not worry about it. When it can time for the airport ride we learned that the hotel staff gave our taxi to another guest. The hotel staff blamed the taxi driver and the taxi driver blamed the hotel staff. My opinion for what it’s worth…the hotel staff is the one that chose the driver and made the verbal agreement with the driver and as such have the responsibility to ensure the guest are picked up on time. If they disagree they shouldn’t be offering the taxi service. It should also be noted that you will have to walk down the beach for several hundred yards to get the the hotel so be aware you’ll need to carry your luggage down the beach to get to the hotel. Not fun if you’re carrying dive gear.

I meet with my friends at their restaurant and had some cocktails. They are saying happy hour, buy one get 1 ( but for 400 pesos) and the original price for one drink was 220 pesos. In what world that's 1+1? It's a really deceiving way to basically scam people. We are not bothered that we had to pay the full price but the way they tried to scammed it

NO ACCESIBLE.
NOTA.
Our biggest mistake was deciding to stay a few more nights and requesting a better-located room with fewer stairs from reception. They offered us a beachfront room, warning us of a significant price difference. We accepted, convinced we'd be getting a better stay.
The next day, out of curiosity, we decided to check the prices online and were surprised: they were 50% cheaper than what we had paid. We went to reception to discuss this, hoping for at least an explanation or some kind of courtesy, but the response was cold and lacking in empathy: "They should have booked that online."
It was another travel lesson: it's always good to check prices through different channels before agreeing to changes, to be sure of the room conditions, and not to assume that an upgrade offered at the hotel will always be the best option.
INGLES
The Orange Pearl Resort has a prime beachfront location and offers excellent views, but unfortunately, that's where its positive points end.
The hotel feels unfinished, with poor construction and a state of repair that leaves much to be desired. Access is difficult, with a steep slope that makes it difficult for cars to enter. The reception is functional, nothing more.
The dining room is pleasant, but the food is value for money high for what it offers. As for the rooms, those in the buildings have mediocre views, except for those directly overlooking the sea. However, even the beachfront rooms are unacceptable: there is no closet, The tonic curtains are not opaque, they are not blackout, which means that in the early morning the light does not let you sleep. only a bar with four hangers, a ridiculous little table, and the lack of basic amenities such as a hairdryer, refrigerator, or coffee maker make the experience disappointing.
Overall, the value for money is poor. If you still decide to stay here, it is highly recommended to check the rooms before accepting the reservation.

The location is unbeatable, but at least the single room (bungalow) is horrible, very very small. Cobwebs everywhere, the bathroom door has holes and is in very bad condition, the walls are dirty and full of moisture, no water pressure, the water in the toilet and sink comes out completely brown, towel remain stained after you dry yourself off, there are holes everywhere making it easy for bugs to get in, they only leave you with a very thin sheet. There is no WiFi in the room. If you can live with having a great view accepting all the other facts this hotel is ok for you
