Gorgeous beach next to restaurants that have a very relaxed atmosphere. There are many trees so there's plenty of shade even without renting lounger & sunshade. Parking (scooter) and toilet for free.

i liked lio beach. it's one of the closer beaches outside of the now busy area of el nido. it's nice to relax and watch the sunset.
there's also some nice restaurants there where i had one of the best lechon kawali's i've had. it was like eating chicharones.
the ube shake is so good too.

Lio Beach is located near a private airport and is a must-visit spot in El Nido. It’s just a few minutes off the main road, so I’d recommend booking a tricycle day tour if you don’t have a car or motorbike. It’s definitely worth the trip! I regretted not exploring this area during my first visit to El Nido.
When you visit, there’s no need to pay for anything aside from food. They provide free sunbeds and chairs with umbrellas (available on a first-come, first-served basis). You can also swim in the beach for free!
Rentable items are surfboards, volleyball, paddleboards, and kayaks. Just keep in mind that their surfing season is from November to March.
One of the highlights is a long bridge that extends into the sea, where you can watch airplanes arrive and depart up close. It’s a very scenic spot. We didn’t get many photos because it's one of those places you really want to experience in person.
There are plenty of stores where you can dine, grab a drink, or just enjoy a cup of coffee. Since it was just the two of us, we asked a local guard to take a photo, and he was really accommodating.
If you’re visiting, I highly recommend eating at L'Assiette El Nido. Both the food and ice cream are delicious! 💋

Lio Beach offers a peaceful and relaxing vibe, with a great restaurant boasting a lovely view. It's not as crowded as other spots, making it perfect for those looking for a quieter escape. Plus, there's a Mercury Drug nearby for convenience.
