Perhaps I would give this hotel more than 2 stars if it wouldn’t be so expensive! For this price I expected at least clean rooms. I would list the main concerns and I hope that hotel management will do something about that and improve their service and quality of rooms: 1. Once we checked in, we were given a room number which was already occupied, so when we enter the room we saw someone else belongings! So apparently they gave as wrong room!! It happened first time in my life. 2. After changing a room we found out that it is not what we book, it didn’t have a sea view so they finally placed our in correct room 3. All rooms had a disgusting bathrooms, with dirt in the corner, not properly washed tiles 4. Sealing had some spots and dirty sticky floor 5. One day they just turned off the water and we couldn’t use shower/toiler/sink. And they didn’t warn us beforehand by phone! So there was problem with pumping machine 6. Rooms are very old and bad maintained Unfortunately only location is good in this hotel!

Great location as it’s right in the centre of town. But for the price that we paid for 3 nights I expected a very clean room and better views. The view of the sea that we had was obstructed by the rooftop building below. If we had been placed a little higher up, I think the views would have been better. The room itself was nice and spacious but I felt that it lacked the cleanliness that I am used to in my own home environment. The shower floor by far was the worst I have ever seen. The way it had been designed probably looked stunning in its heyday but overtime and with overuse had caused stains to form. This just made it look like it hadn’t been cleaned properly and just looked dirty. Also there was mould on the ceiling. But other than that, the hotel was lovely. The service was great. The breakfast was pretty decent as there were a fair few options catering to both the Asian side and the western side. I enjoyed a nice Swedish massage there (1200peso) for 60minutes. You can borrow beach towels at the reception which was handy for our day tours.

NOTE: We noticed some of the reviews and pictures are incorrectly posted for this resort. Looks like some people got it mixed up with the El Nido BEACH Resort, next door. Anyway, here is our honest review for the El Nido Garden Resort. We just checked out of the beautiful El Nido Garden Resort. We had thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights stay. The newly renovated main building has about 45 well equipped large rooms with an island flair. The rooms are well thought and tastefully designed. There is plenty of counter space in the washroom and the room. The walk in shower is large and the towels are soft and thick. The renovation is still in progress at the beach front cabanas and should be completed soon. The noise is minimal and it didn’t affect our time by the pool. Everyone from the front desk/housekeeping / restaurant / security are kind and helpful. Thank you team El Nido Garden Resort for creating such beautiful memories for us. We highly recommend this resort to anyone coming to El Nido.

5/5! highly recommend this resort if you’re going to El Nido. perfect location by the beach and walking distance to the town. I’d recommend getting a deluxe poolside room as it was renovated with a smart toilet and touch screen light mirrors! we also had an aircon that didn’t work when we arrived and they were very accomodating by offering different options and it got fixed the next day! definitely the perfect resort with great service and a beautiful view for anyone staying in El Nido!

Perfectly located near Town Square so there were ample food options to choose from. Rooms by the pool are very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast spread is great as well!
