Beautiful rooms, but service and upkeep need improvement The hotel is quiet and has a certain charm, though it's clearly a bit outdated and not very well maintained. Our room was spacious and truly beautiful, definitely a highlight. However, the front desk staff were indifferent and unhelpful. They didn’t provide basic information like breakfast time, available services, or even the Wi-Fi code. A little more attention to guests would make a big difference.

Great location as it’s right in the centre of town. But for the price that we paid for 3 nights I expected a very clean room and better views. The view of the sea that we had was obstructed by the rooftop building below. If we had been placed a little higher up, I think the views would have been better. The room itself was nice and spacious but I felt that it lacked the cleanliness that I am used to in my own home environment. The shower floor by far was the worst I have ever seen. The way it had been designed probably looked stunning in its heyday but overtime and with overuse had caused stains to form. This just made it look like it hadn’t been cleaned properly and just looked dirty. Also there was mould on the ceiling. But other than that, the hotel was lovely. The service was great. The breakfast was pretty decent as there were a fair few options catering to both the Asian side and the western side. I enjoyed a nice Swedish massage there (1200peso) for 60minutes. You can borrow beach towels at the reception which was handy for our day tours.

We read in a previous review “The Hotel that has everything you want, but not quite”, and we couldn’t agree more. The Hotel has all the aspects there, but just slight flaws with everything. Room: Had booked a queen bed + single bed. Had 3 singles on arrival, and had to move rooms the next morning. Breakfast: Fruit, bacon, eggs, juice, egg station (hidden). And everything is gone before 9:30am. Pool: Stunning views with sunset. 12 Loungers and 2 umbrellas (1 broken). So if you were lucky and manage to get a lounger, it wouldn’t have had shade anyway. (Also construction at the pool which isn’t quite serene). No pool bar/service, which the hotel could absolutely make money on. Shower: Lovely large shower… that may only give you hot water sometimes. Service: Everyone friendly and nice. Location: On the beach, 5minutes walk from the Boat Tours and all the bars/restaurants. Some very fun bars for cocktails next door.

This place was perfectly located next to the nicest part of town with great food options. The pool was great and the view was even better. There's not a better hotel in a more convenient location in all of El Nido. Also has security posted at all entrances to only allow guests to come in.

We had a great stay! The view was stunning, and the location was ideal — close to town but still in a nice and quiet spot. There were lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast had plenty of options, and the spa was fantastic — I loved my swedish massage! We also tried the rooftop restaurant, which had a lovely view; the sinigang and mango shake was okay. The only downside during our stay was that there weren’t enough sunbeds by the pool. I tried to ask the staff for spare beds that we can put at the end of the pool, but they said they don’t have any. Also, some negative reviews seem to confuse this hotel with the nearby garden view property, so make sure you’re reading the right ones. Overall, would definitely recommend!
