Dream Stay by the Sea – Highly Recommended!
Our stay at this hotel was magical. The location is absolutely perfect, nestled right by the sea with breathtaking views of the waters and nervy islands, well-maintained beach just steps away. Watching the sunsets was an unforgettable experience — a serene blend of nature's beauty and tranquility.
The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the warm check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, their politeness and genuine care made all the difference. Every request was met with a smile, making us feel truly valued as guests.
Our room was spacious, airy, and impeccably clean, with large windows offering stunning views. The calming sound of the waves and the lush greenery surrounding the property created a relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave.
This hotel offers the perfect balance of comfort and nature, making it ideal for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and rejuvenation. Would like to return!

The location is just perfect ! The views are unforgettable.
Mostly I was pleased with the staff and especially the driver. Hotel is up on the mountain, taxi won't take you there so each time you want to leave the hotel you need to send a message ( Whatsapp) to the driver to rather drop you off or pick you up from McDonald's located 10 min away . The driver was always very prompt.
Tricycle stop is right at McDonald's so it's super easy to just grab a ride from there to your destination.
Definitely A+

Fawlty Towers! We kayaked over to the very beautiful Dolarog beach and found this place so decided to have lunch. While it’s a very beautiful spot the food, drinks and staff were ridiculous. The waiter took ages to take our order. He finally took our drinks order (2 calamansi juices) and totally forgot about them. I went to ask in the kitchen twice. They laughed and basically said they’re coming. No apologies. After about 30 minutes we finally got them. They were awful. Took them back to ask for honey. Another saga. Our food took even longer and when it came it was tuna from a tin for the tuna pasta and 4 prawns in my prawn pasta for 500 pesos each. I asked why so few prawns and the waiter said prawns were “just a topping”. They tried to charge us 10% service charge and I said no way! They took it off in the end, but there really is no proper service or sense of looking after the customer here. Not simply ‘island time’ which I’m willing to roll with - they just couldn’t care less. Sadly this seems to be quite common in our experience of the Philippines, which is a real shame. That said, the beach is stunning - highly recommend kayaking over. Just bring your own lunch!

The shuttle only runs between 7 - 10 and is only free untill 5pm, after that they want 350 just to drop you at McDonald's. You can only walk to vanilla beach during low tide unless you want to get wet.
The staff are great, and the resort is very nice. If you're not fussed about leaving the resort and having a few slow days it's perfect, however if you want to get out and explore it's quite challenging. When it rains the hill becomes inaccessible.
For the price it feels a little neglected, and lacks potential. The games and pool table is quite worn, just needs some TLC.

Food is inedible - we ordered chicken curry and there were more bones than actual chicken meat
They don't make your room or change your towels unless you ask
If there's no sun, you'll have to have a cold shower as the hot water system is powered by solar panels only
They didn't tell us we couldn't drive to the resort and that they had to pick us up with a golf buggy. We had to call them when we got there
Golf buggy service is essential to be able to move and it's only free until 5pm
Service is terrible: you can see that they try hard and smile but any time you ask for something they took a day to get back to you
I could keep going but long story short don't book this place
The only positive thing is the view
