Simply fall in love. A charming hotel on a secluded and quiet island that maintains the environment at a high level. Starting with the rooms. Spacious, cozy, air-conditioned, equipped with everything you need for a vacation. A saltwater pool and a lovely beach with coconut trees, sun beds and chairs. An activity center for guests with diving, kayaking, climbing, and more. Excellent cuisine with fresh and good food. A charming bar with lots of types of alcohol and most importantly??? An amazing team of empathetic, kind, courteous employees, an extremely high level of service. I would especially like to mention Mark, who welcomed us with great love, and Lala from the reception desk, who did us a lot of good. We were lucky and during our stay, sea turtle eggs hatched and we watched the whole amazing process.
Absolutely amazing stay at Cauayan Island Resort!! The location and the resort itself are absolutely beautiful, but what really makes the place stand out is the incredible service and staff. Every single staff member was kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make you feel special. I actually lost my drone on the sunset cruise my first day and the staff went above and beyond to help me acquire a new one from the only DJI store on Palawan 6 hours away. They were in communication with the store and were able to get it to the resort island only 24 hours later. Thank you for such a wonderful few days!
We spent 11 unforgettable nights at Cauayan Island Resort for our honeymoon, and it was pure paradise. Set in the stunning beauty of El Nido, the resort offers luxurious villas, breathtaking scenery, and world-class service. A special thanks to Nick, Red, Christian, and JC, whose warmth and attentiveness made our stay extra special. We’re also incredibly grateful to General Manager, Jen, for the complimentary villa upgrade on our last night—a truly memorable gesture. From snorkeling, kayaking, and spa treatments to sunset cocktails and exquisite beachfront dining, every moment was magical. The infinity pool and ocean views were simply spectacular. For honeymooners or anyone seeking a luxurious island retreat, Cauayan is a must-visit. We’ll cherish these memories forever—thank you for an incredible stay!
We fell in love with Cauayan Island during our trip in January 2024 and are returning next year. We can’t wait. This resort is top notch in every way. From the amazing and friendly service to the food and drinks, you can’t go wrong at all. Everything we experienced was next level. If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded, serene and romantic property, this is the one. The cove beach is beautiful and the resort is set on its own private island — you feel like you’re on truly on a remote island in the middle of nature (and really, you are!). It’s amazing. The trip was more than worth it coming from the United States, and we can’t wait to return.
The art of laid back luxury is indeed at the 5* Cauayan resort. From the moment we arrived at el nido airport to our departure 10nights later the Cauayan exceeded our expectations on every level. Upon arriving at the El nido airport we were greeted by Cauayan staff that handed us our own Cauayan water cooler bottle to keep and then escorted us to our transfer to the port. Once at the port we was welcomed by the Cauayan speedboat which would take us the resort, a 30min boat ride. Arriving at the front of the island and seeing the cove, beach, beach villas and the scenery was stunning. Once docked we were helped off the boat and walked into the reception area where we were handed our welcome drink and to check-in. Once checked in we were taken to our beach hut villa. The villa itself was lovely, spacious and yards away from the sea, where we could swim with all the fish, saw a turtle and swam with baby black tip reef sharks! On the beach we had our own private beach sun loungers directly in-front of our villa. Whilst at the resort we opted to do 3 boat tours. One full day and 2 half days and boy we was not disappointed and so glad we did. The staff especially Ganny were fantastic. They were so laid back and soon quickly found out we loved snorkeling so took us too all the best places. We also had a proposal sunset cruise. The attention to detail from the layout to the organization was second to none. We also opted to do the sunset and sunrise trek. The sunrise route is totally worth it for view alone above the resort. The resort is as only as good as the staff and the staff were out of this world. Nothing was too big or small for them to do. The bar staff Christian and Alan were fantastic. The Cauayan is by far the best and most spectacular resort we have ever stayed at. To booking activities, speaking to front of house or requesting food/drinks to our villa whilst lounging by the sea is all done via WhatsApp and is seamless. We have literally fell in love with this place and cannot recommend it enough and will 100% be returning in the future. Sophie & James.
