If you're looking for the bare basics in order to escape modern city life and escape into the quiet and stillness of nature then you will be happy here. If however you are a city person who needs electricity then beware, there is limited electricity for only a few hours each day. There are a few places to eat nearby and a village close by for simple groceries. The huts are nice and have mosquito nets over the beds. They have some nice hammocks for resting during the day and you can even rent their motorbike if you want to drive closer into the mainland. Ask the guides for tips on nearby waterfalls that will dazzle you.

Virtually untouched white sand beach with turquoise water makes you feel in paradise.

Very long white sand beach and turquoise sea... amazing nature but the Catian Beach Resort has nothing of the real Resort!!
Structure directly on the beach but very neglected... indescribable common bathrooms.. some recently built more well-kept bungalows, but other structures that are falling to pieces!!
Some bungalows don't even have mosquito nets (I was literally devoured by mosquitoes despite the Autan!!)
no hot water, there is not even electricity in the bungalows, fans that only work for a few hours in the evening, very poor breakfast offered..
No Wi-Fi both in the structure and in the various rooms along the beach!
The phone can only be recharged at certain times (when the generator is on) at the main structure (let's call it reception, reception, restaurant, breakfast area)
We only had dinner once (indecent pasta)
Obviously we then thought, given the power that came and went in fits and starts, that perhaps the food in the refrigerators could not be stored correctly...
Huge stray dog problem!!
Let me start by saying that I love all animals and I also own 2 dogs and a cat... but here is a situation that is becoming really problematic!
Dozens of dogs free on the beach and in the common areas... obviously there is little sleep at night given the constant barking
I leave the decision to stay in this "Resort" to the reader

Mixed opinion on this beachside hotel. These are bamboo cabins, very original. For two or three days as a couple it's very nice. We easily isolate ourselves from the rest of the world (no wifi). Downsides: expensive for what it is, dirty shower towels and rather poor breakfast. The staff is not at all responsive and they are children..
Above all, do not accept their pseudo “offered” services which are in fact billed at the end of the stay!!!
