My husband and I spent here 4 night during our honeymoon. The highlight for me it's the complimentary activities such as the sunset cruise and snorkeling, which we did with our guide Nokki, who explained a lot about life at el Nido, the corals and the fish, I saw some needle fish, 2 big cuttlefish, many types of corals and 1 porcupine fish! I'd recommend going with Nokki for any of the 2 options! The room is big and comfortable, the bed is king size, with very comfy pillows and mattress. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even if they are in training stages, you can tell they love their job at this place, it has a family atmosphere. Special mention to Rose, Elena and Cherry who were very helpful!! I would recommend staying here for honeymoon, couple and friends getaways and family gathering. Very good quality-cost ratio. The only improvements would be changing the metal hangers at the balcony for some wooden ones, they left oxid stains on my swimsuit, and the other is the breakfast buffet, there is too much variety and every day the same items, most of it flavour less, I'd do less variety everyday, and maybe switch the items every other day. The only things I enjoyed were the rice, the chicken option, the plain bread, sunny side up egg and the pineapple. the hotel is very close to the best restaurant we have tried in all the Philippines, "L'Assiette", and also Lio beach which is in itself a luxury!! Enjoy your stay!!

We stayed 4 nights in a Deluxe room. Overall it was a great experience. Room is clean and cozy, king size bed was confortable, too. The complimentary activities of snorkeling and sunset cruise are great. Location is as good as it gets with 1 minute walk to the beach, and great seaside restaurants. They offer ways of getting to the town, but also beach/lake tours that can be booked in the front desk. On the downside, the breakfast is not good, almost no taste, although they have multiple options.

My wife and I spent 4 nights here. The most unforgettable compliment activity is snorkeling. We had an awesome encounter with ocean creatures such as cuttlefish, turtle, tropical coral fish, groups of beautiful brocoli coral . It was Ramie ( our tour guide ) searching them for us by his experienced eyes . If you will go snorkeling, I recommend Ramie being your guide. The room is pretty cozy and clean. We will definitely come back .

We stayed 3 nights at this property. The hotel is at a nice location with a clean beach & restaurants. We especially enjoyed the free morning snorkeling & Sunset cruise. These 2 free activities were guided by a professional gentleman, Ramie. Ramie is very friendly and very patient during the tours. He also help us take great photos & videos. Wonderful & very enjoyable activities guided by Ramie. The receptionist, Rose, was super friendly with all our questions & requests. Ramie & Rose really made our stay special. Plus, free airport transfer is a great bonus. I recommend this property to other guests.

Location, location, location! Service, service, service! Whatever Balai Adlao may lack, their location and service make up for it in spades. Things to note: - The property is undergoing renovations, so we always had our drapes closed due to the close proximity of pipes/workers/etc and the balcony was pretty much unusable except for drying clothes - Small imperfections in the room: a perpetual damp smell, the handle of the sliding door needed repair With that said, I would stay here again. Front desk/workers were always kind and welcoming (which isn't always guaranteed at high volume, tourist heavy zones); free, comfortable shuttle service to and from the airport; laundry services were speedy; the room was always clean; the AC worked beautifully; Lio beach was literally RIGHT THERE. Loved our stay and would recommend for travellers who want a great deal and a comfortable stay.
