The hotel was really nice. Overall service and experience was great. The room was cool, the beds were great but the food was a bit bland for my taste and for the sockets for the twin bedrooms were at the back of the bed frames so we had to borrow an extension cord. The staff kindly lent us an extension cord so it’s an overall A+ on their customer service no doubt.
The hotel is extending, so you will see and hear the noise of the construction site. There is also a loud noise coming from some kind of engine that comes and goes all around the clock. Breakfast is scarce, you have in the picture the jam pot..empty, put by staf on the table for no reason. You have to ask for salt, napkins, sugar...nothing to be found on the tables. Even in the rooms toilet paper is given in small portions. This place has to be avoided. I would not chose it in a million years, but it was choosen by the tour operator (probably due to the low price)
Very nice establishment on Lio beach, 100 meters away. The staff are very welcoming, incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are very clean and perfectly equipped (modern air conditioning, internet, mini-bar, TV, small terrace, etc.). The hotel is very quiet and diving trips can be accessed via the hotel boat. I can only recommend Hotel Adlao, to which we will most probably return.
Adlao Marine is the best. Their snorkeling and sunset cruise are very good with very nice staff. Hopefully they will have all the el nido tours via Adlao Marine.
The Balai Adlao is a decent 3 star hotel at Lio Beach. The hotel is located in an area with several other hotels, coffee shops and restaurants. It also comes with its own restaurant (Molave), which we did not explore except for their breakfast. During breakfast they offer a variety of Filipino food as well as some fruits and an egg station. There is only instant coffee. Although the hotel looks nice from the outside, it’s golden times are in the past. This is best visible in the rooms with partially cracking walls and water leaks to name a few. However the accomodation price is fair and the hotel is clean! The service in the hotel is very helpful. They offer a morning snorkeling trip starting at 9 am and a sunset cruise at 5 pm.
