1. Equipments are well-maintained: they're clean, damage-proof, and well-organized.
2. Instructors (i.e. Sir Joel) are certified diving professionals with the best personalities to accommodate beginners, and ensure their safety. They are english speaking as well.
3. Great memories: are ensured as the instructor themself take pictures and videos of your key moments during your dive

We did our PADI Open Water certification with our Aquanaut friends, it was the best experience! They have the best equipment, it’s safe and most importantly, the crew knows what they’re doing. Specially our instructor, Dan. The crew and himself were very professional and made our dive experience unique. Thanks Aquanaut, definitely marked my experience at El Nido and I highly recommend them! 🤿🙌

Went on 3 dives with Divemaster Jason and the Aquanaut Crew in January 2025 and had a mediocre experience with this dive center, especially on the third dive.
Dive sites and overall process was fine, but I would recommend looking up other dive centers first - especially if you are a beginner.
Our third dive felt off from the beginning as my oxygen tank loosened 2 minutes into the dive, followed by a fellow divers oxygen tank also loosening a few minutes later. Shortly afterwards we noticed his barometer was not working properly either. When this didn’t resolve after a few minutes, the divemaster decided to put the fellow diver on his second stage. This may have been the right decision, but he then decided to follow through with the original dive route instead of navigating directly to the reference point and surfacing.
It’s unclear to me if this situation resulted from the crews inattention to detail during the preparation of the tanks or just bad luck. I do feel that continuing on with the dive after this incident was an unnecessary risk to take however.
Equipment is well worn out (ripped wet suits and shoes), but ok.
Food is ok. You get to choose from multiple options the day before. Filling and did not get sick from it.
Groups are small, max. 4, which is good.

My partner and I completed our PADI Open Water Certificate at Aquanaut. The dive sites were great, got to see turtles, sting rays, eels, lion fish and much more.
We cannot speak more highly of the team there. Made us feel very comfortable and ensured it was a really enjoyable experience. Special shout out to our dive master, Dan. Hopefully, we will be back to dive here again in the future!

We signed up for a two day PADI diving course to achieve our PADI open water license.
Over the two days we were guided by our instructor Dan who really made the experience worthwhile. Dan gave clear instructions for the exercises we had to perform as well as adding lots of enjoyment during the teaching; thank you Dan for your time and effort to teach us to be pro divers!
In addition, the whole boat crew were kind, helpful and sorted our equipment for us efficiently. Thank you to the whole Aquanaut team! :)
Recommend this diving school 10/10.
