We had the best stay at Banig Beach resort. Spectacular views, beautiful rooms. Loved the pool area, our kids had so much fun. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We will certainly be coming back to this hotel

I had a sunset cocktail. All the cocktails cost around 250 (380 for two during the happy hour) I ordered ONE pina colade during the happy hour (not on the menu) and I had to pay 390!!! Even in the fancy sunset spots you don’t pay 390 for ONE quiet small pina colada. sorry, but seems like scam to me.

Loved this accommodation.
Backs onto the beach where you get beautiful sunsets and have a number of bars/restaurants along the beach by walking distance.
Only 5min drive into town via trike which costs 100php.
Very friendly and helpful staff

This is a hotel that had a good start. I traveled with one friend and it was to be honest ok for the price. Our problem came when we had to leave. We made reservations for a private van to the airport of lio (el nido), when we requested this the receptionist literally confirmed every detail. The receptionist even told us to leave the hotel at 05:00 am because in that way we would be there one hour before boarding. Since the airport was 20 minutes away. When we wake up and get in the van we notice it was not a private van but since it was the only one there and the resort only has 6 rooms we got told that this was our van. Since it was early me myself had a little nap before my friend wakes me up and tells me that they have made a mistake and are bringing us to puerto princesa (5 hours away). In result of a lot of stress and anxiety in a foreign country. We ended up loosing our flights that estimated a great amount of money, (luckily it was domestic flight) now imagine if it was international flight. We managed to book a new flight from puerto princesa later that day, the driver seemed stressed and was driving literally 150km/h it did not feel safe to be In the van but at this point we just wanted to leave and never see el nido again. When we got to talk with the receptionist they tried to blame the driver, but we did not make a agreement with the driver, we made it with the hotel.
In other words lack of professionalism, come here and you’ll loose your money, if you are driving by yourself maybe it’s a good hotel, but if you need transfer do not risk it.

Best stay ever, staff was super friendly and helpful, they assisted with whatever I needed whether it was a tour or transportation. The rooms are beautiful a luxurious with showers, and bathtubs, easy access to the beach, as well and a chic pool. They accommodated my vegan requests at the restaurant especially for breakfast the pancakes were delicious! Very charming felt like a home away from home. I’ll definitely be back, and recommend this place to friends and family. If ever the power goes out they have a back up generator, and the water is hot for taking showers!
