I am giving 5 stars for the quality of their coffee, cakes, also 5 stars for the staff and 4 stars for the interior / design / overall atmosphere (a bit too cold in my opinion and there is not enough tables there, hence no privacy etc.). The reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is the value for money: you should not be expected to pay 20EUR (over 1200php!) For 3 regular coffees and 2 pieces of cake - this is what you pay in London or Madrid, not in South East Asia (just my personal opinion and experience). Overall score: 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There ain't no Starbucks or them status quo coffee shops in El Nido. There are plenty of cafes around town but none is as good as Grounded. Neither would give as good as the vibes Grounded offers along with the cool AC in the middle of a hot day. Also right at the corner of the street so easy to find. However, the place isn't too big so they can't accommodate that many customers. Also, for a small town, their coffee is too expensive, actually a lot more expensive for a comparable venti SB...not for the budget conscious. But me having tasted authentic arabica beans in Cordillera, yeah this is real arabica. Had their coffee been at least P75-100 cheaper, (at level 7 google reviewer) this would have been a perfect 5 for me.

Quality coffee, using oat milk
Perfect place to chill after going on tours.
Will definitely come back to try other flavors.
Ordered Cafe dulce and vanilla bean shakerato (current fave)

Beautiful place to wind down after a busy day in el Nido. Besides its high-end and modern interior aesthetics, the various things we tried throughout our stay (yes, we kept coming back) were very delicious and well thought out. Things we tried includes the latte, hibiscus raspberry iced tea, and the best chocolate chunk cookies I’ve tried so far.
Any fellow vegetarians will be happy to hear that this cafe is 100% vegetarian and their default milk is oat milk.
During our visits, the air conditioning was not working and leaking from the ceiling, which is why you see fans in one picture, but the AC should work usually.

A quaint plant based coffee shop located in the heart of El Nido town proper. Coffee options is enough to power you up for a whole day of island activities. I'm glad that they open at 6am hence you grab a cuppa coffee during your early morning walks in the island.
Our Address
Rizal St, Barangay Buena Suerte, El Nido, 5313 Palawan, Philippines
